Heitman is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Barsky as Senior Vice President in the Client Service & Marketing group. In this role, Scott will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the eastern region of the United States and Canada, focusing on the firm’s private real estate equity, private real estate debt, and public real estate securities strategies.

Scott holds a BA in Economics and History from the University of Virginia. He is actively involved in the real estate community, serving as a board member of Project Elevation, an organization dedicated to fostering discussions around diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Additionally, Scott is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and serves on the PREA Institute Committee, which develops an annual program in an academic setting to support PREA’s educational mission and goals.
